My name is Stuart Wemyss and I joined the broking industry in 2002. I started my business (ProSolution Private Clients) only offering mortgage broking services and I was the sole loan writer. After 5 years in business I was consistently settling > $105m p.a. (i.e. in 2006 and 2007).

I stopped writing loans in 2007-2008 and instead employed loan writers. My business is now a holistic finance advisory business offering account/tax, insurance, commission-free financial planning and of course broking.

I employ two loan writers that consistently settle $105m p.a. in total. I work 3.5 days per week, don’t write any loans and the business is easy to manage.
